Neem, otherwise known as the Indian Lilac is a tree native to India and has been used in India for over 2,000 years for their medicinal properties. It is known as the “Village’s Drugstore” in Indian cultures and neem products are known for its antifungal, antiseptic, antibacterial and antiviral properties. It is also an effective insecticide, making it an ideal treatment for head lice. Neem oil is extracted by cold pressed methods similar to that of olive oil.

Step 1: Apply sufficient lotion to hair. |

Step 2: Massage the product well into the scalp, covering at least 3-5cm of the hair shaft closest to the scalp, including the back of the neck and behind the ears. Be careful not to let the product enter the eyes or ears. As an added precaution, cover eyes with a towel when applying the lotion. (Note: Hair does not need to be thoroughly wet with lotion). |

Step 3: Cover the hair (excluding ears) with the shower cap provided and leave the product on for 30 minutes. |

Step 4: Remove shower cap and use a regular comb to comb out excessive lotion on the hair before shampooing hair with the tea tree shampoo provided to help remove the lotion. (Note: It might take more than one wash as the lotion contains natural essential oils that also nourishes the hair and scalp). |

Step 5: Remove all tangles with a regular comb before using the enclosed metal comb to remove the dead head lice and their eggs off the scalp and hair. Separate one-inch sections of the hair, place the comb teeth as close to the scalp as possible and tightly comb the hair at a 45 degree angle. Wipe the lice and nits completely from the comb with a tissue. Pass through the same section several times and repeat this procedure until the entire head is complete. |

Step 6: Rinse the hair with water and towel dry. |

Step 7: Rinse shower cap well after use with soap and warm water. The cap can be re-used after drying. Clean and sterilize combs in boiling water for 10 minutes after use. |

Step 8: Repeat the treatment after 7 days. |
